Meet Alex Lestrange, the talented lead artist behind Artis Experiences. A Hispanic, Southern California-based artist, Alex has spent years perfecting her skills in fine art, specializing in portraiture. Her passion lies in capturing not just the likeness, but the spirit and personality of each subject she paints, with her work reflecting both precision and creativity. Before founding Artis Experiences, Alex gained valuable experience in both the fine art world and the party entertainment industry.

It was this fusion of creativity and celebration that sparked the idea for Artis Experiences. The company was born out of Alex’s desire to combine her artistic talents with her event entertainment, creating an unforgettable experience for all involved.

FAQS

What type of paint do you use?

I paint with acrylic usually to make sure the paintings are drying in an efficient time. I can use oil paint if requested, this may affect pricing.

If you are already booked for my event date, can you paint from a photograph after the event?

Definitely! This is what I always encourage if I am not available, it's a perfect alternative if it is Alex's artwork you are looking for. I can also do my best to find a replacement artist if you are more set on the entertainment aspect. 

If I'm expecting a large amount of guests, do you have a team that would be able to join you?

Yes, I have a team available to assist with most services, ensuring we can accommodate larger groups. For live paintings, artist availability is more limited, but I’ll do my best to meet your needs. Let me know the size of your event, and we can work together to make it a success!

How many hours do you paint at my event?

The time needed depends on the specific service. For live painting, it typically takes 5-8 hours to complete. Other services, like guest portraits or caricatures, depend on the number of participants and the event's timeframe, but all services require a minimum booking of 3 hours.

Do you paint at events outside of weddings?

Yes, I offer services for a variety of events beyond weddings, including corporate events, birthday parties, memorials, and other special occasions. Let me know what you have in mind, and I’d be happy to create something unique for your event!

How do I secure my wedding date on your calendar?

​I require a 50% deposit upfront to secure your date, and the remaining balance isn't due until the week before your wedding. Inquire below to check for availabiliity.

Do you travel?

Yes, I’m happy to travel for events! Being part of your special day is an honor, and I’ll go wherever needed to help make it memorable. Travel fees may apply depending on the location, so feel free to share your event details, and I’ll provide more information.
